We are sorry to inform you that Eric Cartwright has passed away.
Eric played for the club primarily during the late forties and fifties, performing 2nd and 3rd XV captaincy duties for many seasons during that time.
In more recent times he was a regular spectator at 1st XV home matches until ill health prevented him from travelling out.
All club members/VPs should note that his funeral will take place on Wednesday 27th June, 2.30pm at Yardley Crematorium.
Everyone will be welcome afterwards at the Wesley Hotel.
The family have requested no flowers but any donations should be made to The Alzheimers Society.
Eric was a true gentleman and will be sadly missed.
