Sad news relayed via Mick Ison:
"It is with great sadness that I have to pass on the news that Ivor died earlier today (Friday 27th). It appears that he was at a hospice having some regular treatment and whilst he was there he fell down and hit his head. Unfortunately this is all we know at this time, but I have been assured that as soon as the funeral arrangements have been made I will be informed so that the details can be circulated.
Ivor was a huge character in the early days at Tilehouse Lane and took a keen interest in the colts, particularly when I was captain. He was also a key figure in the social scene at that time, along with Billy Davies and Faintly Hall.
He will be sorely missed by many people."
