Old Yardleians RFC: Club News

IT MIGHT BE WINTER BUT OUR MINIS ARE RED HOT

Tue, 16 Dec 2014 12:00

Senior teams

Not a great weekend as our First xv travelled to Droitwich where we might have expected some success but we came away empty handed, losing 15-27.

In a battle of the top two sides in their merit table, our Development team were defeated by Bridgnorth by a score of 17-24.

Mini Rugby
The progress continues as on Sunday, with a lot of clubs opting for Christmas events etc. we had four games, all successful.  The Under 7,8,10, sides travelled over to Aston, who are new to these age groups. Not surprising, we proved to be too strong for the hosts but must remember that we all had to start somewhere. Good luck to Aston and keep going and you will soon see progress.

The Under 11s went to play Old Halesonians and remembering how strong they were in previous seasons, our boys were determined to prove how they have developed as a team. This was achieved with style.  Well done coaches and players.
