What a fantastic game !!
Both sides were equally matched in both size and skill, the kick off saw a constant drizzle to add to the already soaking pitch, mud was unavoidable and all the lads loved it.
Old Yardleians were the first to score with try taken over by L.J. who is our smallest player but lacks nothing in courage.
A further two tries for us by Jack and Freddie sealed the final score at 15 - 5.
The lasting comment in the changing rooms by head coach Ricky was "I am not going to give man of the match, as you all deserve it, therefore you are all man of the match "
A final mention must go to Joe , for a great interception of a passed ball , well snatched Joe !
