The England Rugby Accredited Club Mark

The England Rugby Accredited Club Mark is a joint initiative between the RFU, Sport England and the Active Sports programme.

Community rugby has introduced the England Rugby Accredited Club Mark accreditation programme as a method of examining, maintaining and improving the provision of rugby in the youth section of Active Sports rugby clubs. Building up on current good practice, the accreditation aims to recognise the effort and achievement of those clubs that reach, maintain and improve on the required standard of a club committed to the Active sports programme.

Old Yardleians RFU are proud to have been awarded the RFU’s prestigious England Rugby Accredited Club Mark – this accreditation formally recognises the club as a safe, effective and child friendly environment and reflects the high quality of work done by the club and volunteers over the years. To achieve this OYFRC has been judged to have reached the England Rugby Accredited Club Mark standards.

This England Rugby Accredited Club Mark is an ongoing assessment and will be maintained over the coming years. A youth section development plan will be produced by OYRFC for the new season following on from previous plans – this will be reviewed on an ongoing basis in conjunction with the coaches and YDO.
