1933-34 An Impressive
Record
By the time that the first
games of the 1933-34 season were played, the luxury of an additional bath had
been arranged at the Billesley Hotel and a gym night organised at the
school by the capable Keith Wilkinson of Waverley Grammar School.
For the first time the club
was fielding three teams: -
P W L D F A
First
XV 27 25 1 1
402 38
Second
XV 24 14 9 1
267 147
A
XV 19 13 6
0 335 177

Bill Crinean scored 172 points
for the First XV to beat Roland Rookers record of 157. Les Coxs
Second XV provided excellent
back up.
The club obtained further
recognition when Henry Coldrick was elected to serve on the committee of the
North Midland R.F.U.
The season was marred by an
unfortunate sending-off incident at an away game at Old Moseleians. We
referred the matter to the North Midlands committee but nothing was resolved
and all subsequent fixtures between the two clubs were cancelled.
